SRNICA Adventure park videos
■ Adventure Park is located at the heart of the hidden gorge Srnica near town Bovec. It is intended for nature lovers, adrenaline enthusiasts, families with children, closed groups, schools. Climbing part is carefuly placed in the 120-meter-long gorge and combines hiking and climbing elements guided tours specific to French model of adventure parks.
■ Ascent through the exposed rock thresholds and slopes is safely overcomed and managed with the help of steel cables placed along the wall. Narrow, picturesque gorge during the tour we repeatedly cross over several exposed bridges (wired and log bridges) and our adventure end with a unique ATTRACTION - a ride across gorge with a short cable lift (ZIP LINE - Tyrol lift).
■ In addition to the climbing thrills in the vicinity (up to 15min walk) are to be visit the numerous natural attractions as spring of the Glijun brook, the Virje waterfall with ponds and artificial reservoir lake Plužna.

Information point and meeting point is in the travel agency Outdoor Galaxy office, some 15 minutes before the chosen hour trip. The Agency is located at Ledina 1, Bovec, about 100 m from the center of Bovec.

THE CONDUCT OF THE VISIT
In the office we first arrange all the necessary formalities and take protective equipment (helmet, harness and self-protection kit). Then follows transportation to the park.
Before entering the climbing part of the park, our experienced guide helps us with properly setup and test our personal safety equipment on a nearby specially adapted range.
After the successful completion of the trip, we migh prefer to cool down in a nearby stream Glijun, then return to Bovec.
100% SAFETY GUARANTED
During the tour we are continuously monitored by trained and experienced guide which closely monitors the course of the trip and concern for our safety.
■ before entering the climbing part of the park, our guide supervises and asists us with setup our safety and protective equipment and then helps us test it out on nearby range.
■ during the whole climbing part of the hike, we wear a helmet and we are continuously attached to the protective steel cables.
RECOMMENDED PERSONAL EQUIPMENT
highly recommend appropriate footwear (hiking shoes, high quality sport shoes) and protective clothing appropriate to the current weather conditions and time of year (sweatshirt, sweater, vest top).
WHO CAN VISIT THE PARK?
Adventure Park Srnica can be visited by anyone in the corresponding psychophysical condition. Children under 15 years must be accompanied by parents. Child's inimum, still permitted height is at least 130 cm.
■ We DO NOT conduct and guide Individuals under the influence of alcohol and / or other psychotropic substances.
■ Also visit of the park is not recommended for pregnant women, individuals during recovery after serious disease, and persons with limited physical abilities.
■ Every attendant is obligated to read and sign acknowledgment that he or she accepts all terms of visit of the adrenalin park.

BOVEC REGION AND HISTORY
BOVŠKO TROUGH TIME
Bovško region has a long and colorful history which reflects in the remains of a an ancient Roman road from Aquileia to Noricum, certain local craftsmanship particularities – such as dairy methods in mountain sheep pastures and the pre – industrial tradition of mining and ironworking dating back in 18. century.
Bovško region was a silent witness and helpless victims of French, Turkish and Habsburg armies on their conquests and predatory raids, bloody and senseless slaughter of the Isonzo front in the WW1, as well as Anglo-American military administration of zone B after the end of WW2.
At the crossroads of three cultures Bovško at the juncture of Primorska and Carinthia, has developed a unique and characteristic spirit of integration and cosmopolitanism. It is worth noting that in this relatively isolated Alpine valley has developed and maintained a surprising openness in social communication, while primal peculiarities in customs and traditions, making Bovško interesting and above all different.

Upon completion of the climbing part of the adventure, we might welcome to cool down in the brook Glijun (average temperature 5.5 °C).
Nearby adventure park we can also pay a visit to two attractive short gorges - the first nearby Virje waterfall and the other in the immediate vicinity of vining part of the park.
In the immediate vicinity is also the artificiel reservoir - lake Plužen with a broad perspective of the surrounding peaks among which particularly stands out impressive bovški Matterhorn - the local mountain beauty Svinjak.
